Short Description:

Rachig ring’s birth has indicated a big breakthrough of Tower packing. Due to simply structure & cheap cost, it is very popular in the early of 19th century. However, in the actual application, we often found that Rashig ring’s inside surface has not been fully wet by liquid.This phenomenon will cause liquid’s wall flow,Channel flow and other problems. Finally, it was be eliminated slowly.

However, as the earliest Tower packing, it also meet low requirement tower design. Furthermore, it also can regard as calculated basis for Tower Height’s design.
