Hiflow Ring is a 3rd generation high performance tower packing which provides an optimal design of high mechanical stability, void fraction and superior mass transfer performance.The grid structure guarantee its opening pore ratio exceeds 50% and Bed void fraction is higher than same size’s pall ring..In addition, large fluid flux guarantee its pressure drop per square meter lower 45% than pall ring.Vertical bar staggered distribution and reinforced horizontal stripe largely improve its rigidity and strength.

Owing to Plastic Hiflow ring’s excellent mechanical stability & light weight, Plastic Hiflow ring allows for high packed bed heights without the need for internediate support grids and minimise the phenomenon of liquid flow towards and down the column walls.

Typical Application

1: used in packed towers for the stripping (removal) of volatile organic carbons (VOCs) and other gases or scrubbing (absorption) of gases which can include neutralization of acidic gases.

2: Scrubbing applications for VSP Ring include absorbing and neutralizing acidic gases such as HCL, SO2 and NOXs

3: use in scrubbers at rendering and municipal wastewater treatment plants achieving over 99.8% hydrogen sulfide absorption.

4: stripping applications include the stripping from groundwater of organic solvents such as trichloroethylene, perchloroethylene, trichloroethane and gasoline components commonly referred to as BTEXs (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene).

5: used in degassing applications to remove carbon dioxide or radon and in aerators to oxygenate water for aquaculture applications.
